CONTROL SYSTEMS LABORATORY

Control Systems Laboratory exposes students to know the fundamentals of control systems in engineering applications. Studies include open loop and closed loop control. The laboratory is well equipped with pressure measurements, flow measurements, temperature sensor, light sensor, servomotors, LED lamps, IR sensors, relays and different types of transducers. Different controllers like P, PI, PD and PID are studied with their transfer function. Experiments include transfer function modeling, construction of Polar Plot, Bode Plot, Root Locus and stability analysis. Different types of compensators and design are also studied with plots. The laboratory is equipped with PLC based systems, electro-pneumatic controls and embedded controllers.
