The NSS unit of the college organized the Drug Awareness Program, a significant step towards creating a drug-free society, with the presence of Mrs.T. Anitha, Deputy Collector, and Mr. L. Azarudeen, Revenue Inspector. The program was held in line with the circular issued by the District Collector’s Office emphasizing the need for intensified efforts to curb drug abuse among youth. The event also underscored the mission of the Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu to eradicate drug usage among students and create a healthy and productive youth population. Mrs. T. Anitha addressed the students, highlighting the devastating consequences of drug abuse and urging them to be ambassadors of a drug-free society. Mr. L. Azarudeen emphasized the role of youth in creating awareness about the dangers of drug addiction. The awareness speeches delivered by Mr.A. Manikandan and Mr. R. Sivasakthi, third-year EEE students, further enlightened the 400 students about the various aspects of drug abuse and its effects on individuals, families, and society as a whole. Their speeches were impactful and resonated with the students, encouraging them to make informed choices. The students, in a show of solidarity, pledged to abstain from drugs and to actively participate in anti-drug campaigns. The event was a resounding success and marked a significant step towards achieving a drug-free campus and a healthier society.
HAR GHAR TIRANGA CAMPAIGN – 14.08.2024
The NSS unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology proudly organized the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, a patriotic initiative that united our campus community in celebrating the glory of the Indian National Flag.
NSS volunteers Antony Raja A, Ezhilarasan S, Suriya Prakash K, Ripudhaman M, and Neethiselvan C took the lead in this inspiring event, where they eloquently explained the rich history and significance of our Tricolor. They highlighted the momentous decision made by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on July 23, 1947, when the Constituent Assembly of India officially adopted the design of our National Flag.
Through this campaign, our students not only deepened their understanding of the National Flag but also reaffirmed their commitment to upholding the values it represents. Let us all continue to honor the Tricolor by proudly displaying it in every home.

Awareness Program JAMBUDWEEP Declaration by Marudhu Brothers on 19-06-2024
On June 19, 2024, the NSS unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology organized an awareness program titled “Jambudweep Declaration by Marudhu Brothers.” This event marked the significance of the Jambudweep Declaration, which was proclaimed on June 16, 1801.
The event aimed to educate students on the historical significance and impact of the Jambudweep Declaration, a crucial proclamation in India’s struggle for independence. The NSS Volunteer Mr.S.Sundar elucidated the contents of the Jambudweep Declaration, emphasizing its call for unity among Indian kingdoms against British oppression. He highlighted the declaration’s core message and its strategic importance in galvanizing regional leaders and common people alike. These initiatives by the NSS play a crucial role in promoting historical awareness and active citizenship among students, contributing to the development of an informed and engaged community.
National Youth Day Celebration on 12.01.2024
In order to raise awareness among the students about Swami Vivekanada’s philosophies, values, and ideals, the NSS Unit of AAA College of Engineering & Technology observed National Youth Day on January 12, 2024, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm. Dr. J. Dharmaraja, Head of Department, presented a shawl as a token of appreciation to the key guests. The Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Virudhunagar, Mr. V. Kasivishwanathan, gave the lecture on road safety awareness. The session was enhanced by Ms. ST. Divya Vishalini, First Year, CSE, who shared motivational quotes about Swami Vivekananda’s life with the volunteers. Every NSS volunteer has registered on the My Bharat Portal with their personal information. This program was coordinated by the NSS unit coordinator, Mr. S. Balamurugan.
Higher Education Guidance Program for School Students on 05.01.2024
As per the instructions given by the State NSS Officer, the NSS Unit of AAA College of Engineering & Technology organized the Higher Education Guidance Program on 05-01-2024 at KSG Government Higher Secondary School, Amathur. The NSS Program Officer and the NSS Volunteers attended the School Management Committee (SMC) meeting and interacted with the members. Along with the headmaster, SMC members, NSS volunteers, and staff members visited the school campus. NSS volunteers explained the features available on the Naan Mudhalvan website for school students. NSS volunteers interacted with school students and gave higher education guidance on various options available after higher secondary education. NSS volunteers insisted the school students utilize the Naan Mudhalvan portal for entrance exam notification and preparation. 115 students actively attended the program. This guidance program was coordinated by the NSS unit coordinator, Mr. S. Balamurugan, and the placement officer, Dr. V. Vivek.
World AIDS Day – An Awareness Program on 01.12.2023
With reference to the circular (F.No.2-81/2023-24/NSS-RD/5553-5600) from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the NSS Unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology organized the awareness program about World AIDS Day on December 1, 2023. The importance of this day was delivered by NSS volunteer Navaneethan M. NSS Volunteers raised awareness of World AIDS Day among college students. To prevent the stigma and discrimination related to HIV/AIDS, NSS volunteers take the pledge. To disseminate information related to AIDS, an online quiz is organized at the college. The program was coordinated by the NSS unit coordinator, Mr. S. Balamurugan.
Constitution Day Celebration on 28.11.2023
In view of Indian Constitution Day, the NSS Unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology celebrated the Indian Constitution Day on 28.11.2023 in all the classroom. The history of this special day was delivered by NSS Volunteer Antony Raja A. From this speech, everyone understood that the Constitution of India is the supreme law of India. Constitution Day speech was organized during which the volunteers read the preamble and briefed about the fundamental laws of the constitution that everyone should be aware of. The Great thoughts & ideas of Dr.Bhimarao Ramji Ambedkar were discussed. The program was coordinated by the NSS unit coordinator Mr.S.Balamurugan.
Vigilance Awareness Program on 01.11.2023
In view of Vigilance Awareness Week 2023, the NSS Unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, in association with the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Department, Virudhunagar, organized the awareness program with the theme “Say No to Corruption, Commit to Nation” on November 1, 2023. This program aimed to raise awareness about the importance of vigilance, the consequences of corruption, and the role students play in maintaining a corruption-free society. The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. M. Sekar, Principal, Mr.Salvan Durai, Inspector of Police, and Mr. Boominadhan, Inspector of Police, Virudhunagar, whose insights and experiences added great value to the program. The session included discussions on real-life case studies and the impact of corruption on society. A significant part of the program involved students taking a pledge to uphold ethical values, reject corruption, and report any unethical practices they might encounter. RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS PLEDGE TAKING CEREMONY on 28.10.2023
With reference to the circular (D.O.No. 11018/13/2023-ESEB) from Ministry of Education, the NSS Unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel as a Unity Day on 28.10.2023. The day is now celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Divas or National Unity Day, to honour his monumental achievement of integrating more than 550 princely states into the Union of India. The history of this special day was delivered by NSS Volunteer Bhuvanesh A. The event started with a pledge taking ceremony that embarked the spirit of nationalism among the fellow students.
