The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has planned to conduct Parents & Teachers Meeting for II year EEE students on 02.12.2023 Saturday at 10.30 A.M.

In view of Vigilance Awareness Week 2023, the NSS Unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, in association with the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Department, Virudhunagar, organized the awareness program with the theme “Say No to Corruption, Commit to Nation” on November 1, 2023. This program aimed to raise awareness about the importance of vigilance, the consequences of corruption, and the role students play in maintaining a corruption-free society. The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. M. Sekar, Principal, Mr.Salvan Durai, Inspector of Police, and Mr. Boominadhan, Inspector of Police, Virudhunagar, whose insights and experiences added great value to the program. The session included discussions on real-life case studies and the impact of corruption on society. A significant part of the program involved students taking a pledge to uphold ethical values, reject corruption, and report any unethical practices they might encounter. This program was coordinated by NSS Unit Coordinator, Mr. S. Balamurugan.

Fine arts and Literary Club of AAACET organized Pongal Celebration in our college campus on 14.01.2023. In the regard various activities and events were for our faculties and students. The event was coordinated by Mr. P.S.R. Senthil Maharaj, AP/Mech and S. Reshmika, 4th EEE and M. Sai Janani, 4th CSE.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a Workshop on “UI & UX Designing” during the period of 05/09/2022 to 06/09/2022. Students of second year and third year Computer and Science Engineering department had attended the course. Dr.V.Vivek, AP/CSE, Welcomed the gathering. Dr.J.Sutha, Professor and Head / CSE, gave the presidential address. Mr.T.Ananth Prabhu Senior Technical Architect, CNETWORQ, Bangalore was the resource persons of the course, Dr.V.Vivek, AP/CSE coordinated this course. The aim of the UI/UX workshop is to provide students with the knowledge of user- centered design, user -centered methods in design, graphic design on screens, simulation and prototyping techniques, usability testing methods, interface technologies and user centered design in corporate perspective. By this workshop, students knew about how to develop a UI/UX design with Adobe XD open-source softwares. Totally 112 students of second year and third year CSE gets benefitted from this course. At the end of each session, Assessment was conducted. At end of the course, the students who are performed well they are honored by the HoD. She distributed the certificates to the students. At the end of the course, Ms.G.Anushiya of second year gave vote of thanks. The students appreciated the resource person. As such, we can conclude that, this program appeared to have been met the main motto and the provision of this course is highly valued by members.

The Department of Civil Engineering organized a certificate course on “Planning and drafting of buildings using AutoCAD software” from 24/02/2022 to 01/03/2022 in the CAD/CAM laboratory, Cambridge Block, I floor. Mr.T.Thirukumaran, AP/Civil and Mr.T.Manikandan, AP/Civil were the resource people for the course. In addition, Ms. K.Krishiga, AP/Civil explained about plotting and dimensioning of plan with consideration of Vasthu sastra. Forty students from II year B.E. Civil Engineering Department attended the course.

AUTOCAD is most commonly used software for creating and modifying two dimensional drafting with detailed information about the conceptual design of buildings. The five days course helped the students to plan the requirements of buildings and draw the approval plan as per DTCP norms. The participants attended all the section with full interest and cleared their doubts during the question and answer section. The five days certification course came to an end with participants sharing their feedback.
