CHEMISTRY LABORATORY
The chemistry laboratory has been framed so that the future Engineers acquire practical laboratory techniques as well as applied theoretical principles necessary for a successful career in today’s chemical industry. The department of chemistry has a spacious laboratory to carry out the practical and separate store room. It is equipped with sufficient number of instruments like digital conductometer, digital potentiometer, digital pH meter, platinum electrodes and calomel electrodes, Water distillation unit, Glass wares, non-carcinogenic chemicals and solvents. Laboratory exercises are strappingly supported by the evidence, while there needs to be essential re-thinking of the use of laboratory instruction manual, with evaluation being explored afresh. In addition to the above equipment the department has instruments such as spectro photometer and digital flame photometer for demonstration purpose to the students, the department is catering to the needs of B.E / B.Tech students.
