PHYSICS LABORATORY
The Physics Laboratory operates within the Department of Science & Humanities. The aim of this laboratory is interpretation of physics by performing instructive physical experiments that reveal fundamental physical principles, and also to attain a level of dexterity with experimental devices. The Physics Laboratory is spacious and well-equipped with travelling microscope, Torsional pendulum set up, energy band gap apparatus, Laser source, Fiber optic kit, ultrasonic interferometer, spectrometer and Air wedge apparatus. All the experiments are designed to correlate theoretical knowledge with the practical applications. Each experiment consists of a theoretical and methodological preparation:
- Reading about the theory behind the experiment
- Determining what should be done and in what order
- Writing a plan containing the required steps for carrying out the measurements.
