RED Hat ACADEMY

In AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering inaugurated “RED HAT ACADEMY” on 29.01.2020 for the students of CSE. The function started with a prayer song. Dr.J.Sutha, Professor and HoD, Department of Computer Science and Engineering welcomed the gathering. Dr. M. Sekar, Principal gave the inaugural address and insisted the importance of Red Hat to the students. Mrs. T. Gladima Nisia, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE introduced the Chief guest, Mr. Geo Joseph and Ms.M.Jeyanthi, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE  introduced the Chief guest, Dr. S. Bala Murugan. The Chief guest Mr. Geo Joseph presented the various features and services of Red Hat. Participants gained familiarity with Open source, Red Hat Linux and Red Hat Certified courses. In addition to this, the speech by Dr. S. Bala Murugan provided lot of information to the students about the recent trends. Mr. J.S. Sugumar motivated the students and made them realize the importance of the certification courses. It served as the eye-opening session for the students especially regarding Red Hat Course.

Dr. M. Sekar, Principal, presented a momento as a token of love and affection to our Chief guests. The MoU between Red Hat academy and AAACET is exchanged between Dr. M. Sekar, Principal and the Chief guest Mr. Geo Joseph. Mrs.G.Kavitha, AP/CSE, delivered the vote of thanks.  Finally, the programme was ended with national anthem.

The programme was well organised by our Secretary Dr.P.Karvannan., Correspondent Dr.P.Ganesan., Joint Secretary Dr.K.Vignesh Kumar., Principal Dr.M.Sekar, Dr.J.Sutha, HOD/CSE and by the Faculty members of CSE.
