6th Annual Day – 2020
The 6th Annual day was celebrated on 14/03/2020 (Saturday) at 5 p.m in the college premises. The eminent public speaker Smt. Bharathi Baskar was the Chief guest for the function. The Secretary Dr. P. Karvannan, the correspondent Dr. P. Ganesan, the Joint Secretary, Dr. K. Vignesh Kumar and other Trust members also participated.
Selvan. Joseph Andrew, the fourth-year student of the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, gave the welcome address. The annual report of this academic year was submitted by the principal, Dr. M. Sekar.
In the beginning of the ceremony the students who passed the Anna University examinations, with 9 CGPA were awarded with Rs. 10,000/- cash and the certificate. The fourth-year student of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, T. Vijaya Ananthi, the fourth-year student of the Civil engineering department, K. Mareeswaran and the third-year student of the Civil Engineering Department N. Hari Priya were received Rs. 10,000/- cash award and the certificate for securing 9 CGPA in Anna University examinations.
During the course of study, the students who have been specially exposed to their talents are selected and honored every year by the college management. In this respect, Electrical and Electronics Engineering student, Y. Karuppusamy, Civil Engineering student, S. Sri Shyla, Computer Science Engineering student, R. Swarna Lakshmi, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering student, R. Gayathri and a student of Mechanical Engineering, R. V. Gunaseelan were honored as best outgoing students of the batch 2016 – 2020.
Top three students from each department with academic excellence were awarded on behalf of the Panjurajan-Amaravathi trust. In addition, certificates were issued to the students who had registered attendance of 100% without taking leave throughout the year. In addition, the students who were extensively contributed in different cell activities were given appreciation certificates.
The students of various departments have expressed their talents in the dance and drama, which has received a great reception from the audience. Finally, R. Gayathri, the fourth-year student of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, gave vote of thanks.

Sports Day – 2020
The Sixth Annual Sports Day of AAA College of Engineering & Technology, Sivakasi was conducted on 13th March, 2020. The programme began with the invocation of Tamil Thai Vaazhthu followed by the Flag hoisting ceremony. Mr. M. Joseph Andrew, IV ECE welcomed the gathering. The National Flag was hoisted by our honourable Chief Guest for the day, Dr. M. Gopinath, Deputy Director of Physical Education, University College of Engineering, BIT Campus, Anna University, Tiruchirappalli. Our esteemed Correspondent Dr. P. Ganesan hoisted the Olympic Flag following which the College Flag was hoisted by our respected Joint Secretary, Dr. K. Vignesh Kumar.
The athletes and players of our College performed the Parade and our Chief Guest Dr. M. Gopinath accepted the Salute of the athletes. The Sixth annual Sport Day was declared open by the Chief Guest and the Olympic torch was carried around the 400 m track by the best Anna University Zone 17 representatives of our College. The Olympic flame was lit by M. Suresh of IV year Mechanical Engineering accompanied by B. Sarath Raja (IV EEE), M. Prabhu (IV CSE), M. Periyasamy (IV Mechanical), M. Arun Sathish (III ECE), G.M. Jeyashakkiya (II ECE), P. Varun Kumar (III ECE), P. Indhu (IV ECE) and G. Ram Prasadh (IV EEE).The Leader and Captains of the parade, K. Arun (IV Mechanical), M. Kalirajan (III Mechanical), M.B. Dheeban Sujai (III Mechanical), M. Sathiesh Pandian (III Mechanical) and G. Surya Prakash (III ECE) were the Olympic Oath takers.
The track events namely 100 mts dash, 4×400 mts relay and 4×100 mts relay were conducted, besides which students also performed traditional Indian martial arts like Rope Gymnastics, Mallakhamb Gymnastics and Silambam. The final event on the ground was the Closing dance performed by athletes and players. Concurrently, the winners of the various individual track and field events like 100 mts, 200 mts, 400 mts, 1500 mts, 5000 mts, Long jump, High jump, Triple Jump, Shot put, Discus throw and Javelin throw under both boys and girls category were honoured by the Chief Guest, Trust members, Management members, Principal and HODs at the Victory Stand.
The Annual Sports report for the academic year 2019-2020 was presented by the Physical Director, Mr. K. Rajkumar. The Correspondent Dr. P. Ganesan and Principal Dr. M. Sekar felicitated the gathering. The Chief Guest was honoured with a Shawl and memento by our Joint Secretary Dr. K. Vignesh Kumar and Mr. Amarnath Ganesan, Trust member. The Chief Guest Dr. M. Gopinath in his address narrated the importance of sports, physical activities, yoga and motivated the students to perform studies and sports in a balanced state. The Chief Guest Dr. M. Gopinath, Correspondent Dr. P. Ganesan, Joint Secretary Dr. K. Vignesh Kumar, Principal Dr. M. Sekar, Trust members Mrs. Grahalakshmi Karvannan, Mrs. Sasimala Ganesan and Mr. Amarnath Ganesan distributed medals, trophies and certificates to the winners and runners of all the team games.
The Individual Champion of the Sixth Annual Sports Day under the boy’s category was K. Sathish Kumar, IV Mechanical with 14 points and for the girls category it was M.V. Abbiramy, I CSE with 22 points. The Overall Winners and Runners Trophy for the academic year 2019-2020 were bagged up by the Red House and Yellow House respectively under both the boy’s and girl’s category. M. Arun Sathish of III ECE was presented with a trophy for having represented our college for the very first time at the Anna University Inter Zone Athletic meet. The vote of gratitude was proposed by Mr. G. Surya Prakash of III ECE and the day came to an end with the lowering of National Flag followed by National Anthem.
Women’s Day – 9th March 2020
The Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) of AAA College of Engineering & Technology, Sivakasi organized the Women’s Day Celebration on 09th March, 2020. The Inaugural function was invoked with prayer followed by the welcome address delivered by Ms. S. Sabari Shri of III ECE. Dr. Meena Prakash, Associate Professor in Department of ECE and Mrs. C. Tamilselvi, Assistant Professor in Department of Physics honored our esteemed Chief Guests, Tmt. Priya, Inspector of Police, Bazaar Police Station, Virudhunagar and Tmt. Navamani, Sub Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Virudhunagar with a shawl.
The Chief Guest Tmt. Priya and Tmt. Navamani delivered the girl students and women faculty of our college an awareness lecture on “Women Safety: Laws Empowering Women”. In their address, they insisted on the importance and pride of being born as a girl and how aware should a girl live in the current scenario. They also added up a few reports on the cases which they encounter regularly regarding women harassment, child abuse, molestation and drug abuse. The students were also advised how to use the social media in a productive way without getting entrapped by cybercriminals.
The other two participants for the women’s day celebrations were Ms. M. Anushya (III, B.Sc., Physics, Srirengam Srimath Andavan Arts & Science College, Tiruchirappalli) and Ms. A. Shalini (I BA Economics, Holy Cross College, Tiruchirappalli). They demonstrated simple techniques on the making of useful arts and crafts from waste materials. The note of gratitude was proposed by Ms. N. Haripriya, III Civil and the programme was concluded with the National Anthem.

SIX DAY TRAINING PROGRAM ON RED HAT CERTIFIED SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR COURSE – 3rd March 2020
In AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with Red Hat Academy and Winways infomatics Pvt. Ltd., organized “Six Day Training Program on Red Hat Certified System Administrator Cousre” from 03.03.2020 for students from various department of AAACET. The trainer is Mr. R. Sakthi Kumar, Red Hat Instructor, from Winways infomatics Pvt. Ltd., Madurai. The function started with a prayer song. Dr. J. Sutha, Professor & Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering welcomed the gathering. Dr. M. Sekar, Principal, AAA College of Engineering & Technology gave the inaugural address and insisted the importance of Linux OS in industry to the participants. Mr. J. S. Sugumar, Director, Operations, Winways infomatics Pvt. Ltd., briefed the participants about the topics to be covered in the course. Ms. P. Thanga Sudha of Second year CSE, introduced the Chief Guest. Ms. M. Manjula of Final year CSE, introduced the Resource Person. In the course, Resource Person presented the various features of basics of Linux Installation. Hands on training also provided to the participants. Participants gained a familiarity with Linux platform, understand various tools for handling files, directories and manage security including firewall, SELinux configuration. Mrs. T. Gladima Nisia, AP/CSE, delivered the vote of thanks. Finally the programme was ended with national anthem.
