INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Information Technology, a well esteemed department in AAACET is established in the year 2023 with intends to produce well-qualified software professionals. The department offers B.Tech. – Information Technology programme, which associates faculties with skilled in various fields and good laboratory facilities for imparting knowledge to the students.

The Four year program of Information Technology inculcates students in developing new technological systems using mathematical models, improving the usage of emerging technologies, impact practises in Operations research, Game theory, Computer science, probability, statistics and etc. Further, students can expose them by engineering theory as well as practical sessions in various fields like Block chain technology, soft computing, cyber systems, expert systems and many.

Students of this department can get good hands-on practical experience in order to meet out the IT industry needs under the proper guidance and mentorship of faculty. In order to investigate and build Real Time Applications, to perform verification and testing activities, to carrying out networking and information security tasks, to gain knowledge on the various verticals of software engineering and related disciplines. Information Technology department provides a well-equipped individual laboratories.

The department focus on recruiting our students in top eminent software industries such as GOOGLE, IBM, HCL, Amazon, TCS, CTS, and etc by providing the depth engineering knowledge and offer value added courses such as Red Hat certification program, Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, Internet of things, Sales force ADX-201, Microsoft Azure and etc. It really fills the gap among the engineering curriculum and the industry needs. In addition students can get real time exposure and hands on training in the industry through internship program and Industrial Visit.

Department provides as well sophisticate classrooms, adequate number of faculty members with depth knowledge in IT and have real time experience in IT industry, separate reading hall, seminar hall with smart systems, Association cell, library with enormous number of books and journals and more.

Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

The Department of Information Technology has well-established Computer Laboratories with state-of-art infrastructure to cater the needs of the Engineering students. All computer laboratories are fully air-conditioned and the students can access the laboratories round the clock. Highly sophisticated and the latest configuration computers were installed in various laboratories to cater to the students quest for knowledge.

All the computer laboratories are equipped with structured Wi-Fi, LAN (CAT6 Cable), Fibre Cable and other relevant software. Computer laboratories are equipped with latest configuration systems  with a dedicated network. The Computer laboratories are being upgraded from time to time to provide the best computational infrastructure. The Department of Information Technology has utilise the laboratories for conducting curriculum laboratories, value added courses and doing research works by faculty and students.
