A one-day Industrial Visit was arranged for III Year Electrical and Electronics Engineering Students to Tuticorin on 04.11.2022. In Forenoon Session, students visited Venus Home Appliances. The manufacturing process of water heater and solar water heater was briefed by the company person. In afternoon session, students visited VVD and Sons Private Limited, Tuticorin. The extraction process of coconut oil was demonstrated. The students observed various machineries and packaging process in the industry. A team of 31 students, 3 teaching faculty & 2 non-teaching staff benefited through this visit.

Workshop on e-Yantra Robotics on 13.10.2022
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, in Association with IETE Student Forum organized “National Level Workshop on eYantra Robotics on 13.10.2022. As a cumulative, 20 students from various colleges were eagerly participated in this workshop The Function was started with a prayer song. Ms. B. Swetha, Final Year ECE, Student Coordinator – Valiant‘2022 welcomed the gathering. Dr. S. Sevugarajan, Professor and Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering gave the importance and scope of robotics workshop.
The resource person of the workshop was Mrs. K. Padmapriya, AP/ECE. The workshop was mainly focused on encouraging college students in the field of robotics and automation. The students were introduced to different types of robots and their applications. The resource person familiarized the students about different sensors and equipment required to build robots. Hands on training of AVR studio software has given to participants and Live demonstration of bots like: Maze runner & swarm robot were shown to the students.
At the end of the workshop Feedback session was conducted. During the feedback session all the students were expressed their gratitude to Head of the Department and Event coordinators for organizing this workshop. Dr. S Sevugarajan, HoD/ECE distributed the certificates to participants. Mr. M. Manjula Devi delivered the vote of thanks. Finally the programme was ended with National Anthem.
ECE Association Inauguration and Workshop on Quality of Service on 4G and 5G Network on 21.09.2022
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with IETE Student Forum organized the inauguration of Department association and one day workshop “Quality of Service on 4G and 5G Network” on 21st September 2022 at Thomas Alva Edison Hall Cambridge block. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. H.Victor Samson, Divisional Engineer, BSNL, Virdunagar. The Function was started with a prayer song and Mr. R. Suriyamoorthy, Second Year ECE, welcomed the gathering.
Dr. S. Sevugarajan, Professor and Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering delivered the inaugural address and announced the executive members of the association and its plan for the academic year 2022-2023. Ms. B. Swetha Final year ECE, introduced the chief guest. Dr. S. Sevugarajan, Professor and Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering honoured the chief guest. The chief guest Mr. H.Victor Samson, Divisional Engineer, BSNL, Virdunagar advised the students to utilise technical opportunities provided by college to improve their career and encouraged the students those who have went for internship / implant training at BSNL and he motivated all the young minds to get ready to face the upcoming challenging future.
After association inauguration one day workshop on “Quality of Service on 4G and 5G Network” was conducted. The resource persons of workshop were Mr. H.Victor Samson, Divisional Engineer, BSNL, Virdunagar, Mr. S. Pandeeswaran, Sub Divisional Engineer, BSNL, Virudhunagar and Mr. A.S. Ashragdheen, JTO, BSNL, Virdhunagar. More than 120 students from II, III and IV year ECE participated in the workshop. Mr. A.S. Ashragdheen, JTO, BSNL, Virdhunagar presented the topic on Basics of Communication Networks, Mr. S. Pandeeswaran, Sub Divisional Engineer, BSNL, Virudhunagar, delivered the lecture on Advancement in Communication Network and Mr. H.Victor Samson, Divisional Engineer, BSNL handled the session on Quality of Service on 4G and 5G Network. At the end of the session resource persons distributed the certificates to the participants. Mr. L.Pandian, second year ECE delivered the vote of thanks. ECE Symposium VALIANT’2022 on 14.10.2022
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, in association with IETE Student Forum organized “National Level Technical Symposium – VALIANT’2022 on 14.10.2022. The Chief Guest of the function was Mr.B.Sankar Madaswamy, Scientist / Engineer – SF, Manager, HRD, ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC), Bangalore. The Function started with a prayer song and Mr. R. Suriyamoorthy, Second Year ECE welcomed the gathering. Dr. S. Sevugarajan, Professor and Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering gave the inaugural address and briefed about the professional laboratories in the department apart from the Anna University curriculum. He also informed the students that the workshops will be conducted at these laboratories during the symposium. Ms. R. Oviya of Third year Electronics and Communication Engineering introduced the chief guest. Dr. M. Sekar, Principal, delivered felicitation address and it was followed by presentation of a memento as a token of love and affection to the chief guest.
Mr.B.Sankar Madaswamy, during his address presented the detailed explanation about the various satellites that has been launched by ISRO and provided information about various research centre associated with ISRO such as Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Space Applications Centre (SAC), U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC). He discussed about the ISRO’s various Satellite Launch Vehicles, Gagan Satellite Navigation System, Infra structure facilities of ISRO and its research findings through Chandrayan and Mangalyan space mission. More than 100 participants from various colleges are actively participated in the symposium,
Technical events such as Prototype presentation, Circuitix, Technofrenz, Best Engineer and Advertisement and Non technical events such as Memorax, Jazz on, Duo Dance Performance, Gaming and Online events such as Meme Master and Mobile Blow up were conducted were conducted for the external participants. Prototype presentation around 20 technical papers were presented by various college students in the area Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Automation, Block Chain, Solar Mobile Charger, etc.
Circuitix event which tests the very basics of electronics, this is an on the spot event which gives the opportunity to showcase the students skills at designing and implementing electronic circuits. First round the aptitude test, which tests the basics of digital and analog knowledge of the participants. A problem statement was provided to the participants building a circuit based on the given problem statement. The accuracy and the approach in building the circuit is observed. Technofrenz event on the spot technical topic is given to the participants after two minutes they have to talk about the topic.
Best Engineer event was conducted by to test the technical and managerial skill of the students.
Advertisement event one product is given to the students on the spot after 3 minutes they have to market that product in a best manner.
The programme was well organized by Faculty Co-ordinators Mrs. K. Padmapriya, AP/ECE, Mr. C. Shanmugaraja, AP/ECE, Mr. G. Jayahari Prabhu, AP/ECE, and Student Co-ordinators D. CSE Industrial Visit on 13.10.2022
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, organized one-day Industrial visit to VINSUP INFO TECH PVT LTD, TENKASI on 13th, October, 2022 for B.E. II year Computer Science & Engineering students. The visit was organized with the prior permission and guidance of our Principal Dr.M.Sekar and Dr.J.Sutha, Head of the department, Computer Science & Engineering along with the of faculty members, Computer Science & Engineering have taken hard efforts and initiative which made this visit grand success. Dr.V.Vivek (AP/CSE), Mrs.A.Selva Anushiya (AP/CSE.), Mr.T.Vetrivel (AP/CSE) faculty of Computer Science & Engineering department were accompanied with this industrial visit. On receiving the letter of permission from VINSUP INFO TECH PVT LTD, TENKASI, 53 students with three faculty members went on an industrial visit to the company on 13-10-2022 (Thursday). We all assembled at the college at 6 A.M. and left the college by bus at 6.30 A.M. In Rajapalayam, we had a short breakfast at 08.30 am. We reached the company at 10.15 A.M. After getting the approval from the training team, we entered the factory by 10.30 A.M. The Director and General Manager of VINSUP INFO TECH gave a detailed explanation on the recent trends along with technologies and its need. After that students had asked their doubts and got excellent reply also. General manager took us around the company from one section to another and explained each and every process involved in their routine tasks. This particular industrial visit is very much useful to everyone with the recent technologies.
Guest Lecture on “Choosing a New Career Path on 30.09.2022
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on “Choosing a new career path” on 30/09/2022. Students of second year and third year Computer and Science Engineering department had attended the course. Dr.V.Vivek, AP/CSE, Welcomed the gathering. Dr.J.Sutha, Professor and Head / CSE, gave the presidential address. Mr.S.N.Ramesh Kumar HR Head, Mastercom Technologies, Bangalore was the resource persons of the course, Dr.V.Vivek, AP/CSE coordinated this course. The aim of choosing a new career path is to provide students with the knowledge of corporate expectations and their perspectives, create long-term plans, evaluate their skillset, and obtain a broad education. Through this guest lecture, students knew about how to crack the interviews and other exams. Totally 112 students of second year and third year CSE gets benefitted from this guest lecture in this connection the students were asked their doubts and questions. At the end of the course, Ms.M.Kalpana of third year gave vote of thanks. The students were enjoyed and appreciated the resource person’s presentation. As such, we can conclude that, this program appeared to have been met the main motto and the provision of this course is highly valued by members.
School Innovation Programme on 19.10.2022
The district chief educational officer of Virudhunagar, inaugurated the School Innovation programme for School science teachers to promote innovation from school level. More than 160 school teachers from Virudhunagar district participated. Dr Sekar, principal felicitated the gathering and distributed the certificates.
Guest Lecture on “Opportunities in IT industries related to Java programming” on 17.10.2022
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on “Opportunities in IT industries related to Java programming” on 17.10.2022 from 3:10 PM to 4:30 PM. Dr. P. Elamparithi, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, AAA College of Engineering and Technology, was the resource person for the lecture. Dr. P. Elamparithi, delivered a lecture on Java programming and its opportunities in IT sector. During the session he covered history of Java and fundamentals of Java programming. He also presented few examples with applications. It was an enlightening and fruitful experience for the students who participated in the programme. Totally 75 students from II and III year attended the programme.
Workshop on GITHUB on 24.09.2022
In AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with CSI Student Chapter organized “National Level Workshop on GITHUB” on 24th September 2022. As a cumulative, 81 participants from various engineering colleges were eagerly participated in this workshop. The function started with a prayer song. Ms. P. Bharathi of Final Year CSE, welcomed the gathering. In the workshop, Resource Person Mr. D. Samuel Rajan, DevOps Engineer, HandBuiltApps, Sivakasi presented the various features in the Github. Hands on training also provided to the participants.
The programme was well organised by our Secretary Dr.P.Karvannan., Correspondent Dr.P.Ganesan., Joint Secretary Er.K.Vignesh Kumar., Principal Dr.M.Sekar, Dr.J.Sutha, HOD/CSE and by the Faculty members of CSE.
