The Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Placement Cell of AAACET conducted a Five Days Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Prolem Solving and Advancement in Python Programming” for faculty members from 22 July 2024 to 26 July 2024. The resource person for the programme was Er.S.K. Sanjay Raj, Managing Director, Rasccer Pvt. Ltd., Madurai. Mrs.S. Rajathi, AP/CSE, and Dr.S. Mythrei, AP/CSE, were the coordinators of this program.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Placement Cell of AAACET conducted a Five Days Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Cyber Security” for faculty members from 15 July 2024 to 20 July 2024. The resource person for the programme was Mr.S. Kumaraguru, Senior Technical Trainer, ICTACT, Chennai. Mrs.C. Karthiga, AP/CSE, and Mr.K.A.  Mohammed Faiz, AP/CSE, were the coordinators of this program.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Placement Cell of AAACET conducted a Short Term Training Programme (STTP) on “Hardware, Troubleshooting, and Design” for Teaching and Non-Teaching faculty members from 08 July 2024 to 12 July 2024. The resource person for the programme was Dr.V. Vivek, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi. Mrs.S. Rajeswari, AP/CSE, and Mr.R. Srinivasan, AP/CSE, were the coordinators of this program.

In AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with CSI Student Chapter organized “National Level Symposium – AUGUSTA 2K24” on 03.04.2024. The Chief Guest for the function was Mr. K. Vishnu, Corporate Operations Engineer, Google, Hyderabad. The function started with a prayer song. Ms. V. Kalpana, Student Coordinator – Augusta 2k24, Department of Computer Science and Engineering welcomed the gathering. Dr.J.Hemalatha, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering gave the inaugural address and briefed about the events of symposium to the participants. Ms. T. Jay Shiva of Final year Computer Science and Engineering, introduced the chief guest to the participants. Dr. M. Sekar, Principal of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, presented a memento as a token of love and affection to our chief guest. In the chief guest address, he presented the skills needed to get a job in IT sector and insist the participants to improve their skills to succeed in their career. More than 180 participants from various engineering and arts colleges actively participated in the symposium. Technical events like Presentino, Hug for Bugs, UI/UX Architect, The Mystery Maze & Wisdom Whiz and non-technical events like Calm Wave, Talentia, Prophunt, Rhythm Blast & Kalakalappu Cafe were conducted in a grand manner in order to enhance the skills of students.

The programme was well organised by our Secretary Dr. P. Karvannan., Correspondent Dr. P. Ganesan., Joint Secretary Dr. K. Vignesh Kumar., Principal Dr. M. Sekar, Dr. J. Hemalatha, HoD/CSE, Augusta Co-ordinators Dr. K. Palraj, AP/CSE,  Mrs. T. Vinothini, AP/CSE and by the faculty members of CSE. During the valedictory function Dr. J. Hemalatha, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering distributed the prizes and certificates to winners. Mr. M. Dev Ananth, Student Coordinator – Augusta 2k24, delivered the vote of thanks.  Finally the programme was ended with national anthem.

In AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, the centre of excellence for Amazon Web Services in association with Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized “Certification Program on Amazon Web Services Cloud Architecture” from 04^th March 2024 to 9^th March 2023. As a cumulative, 58 participants from our CSE department were eagerly participated in this Six Days Certification Program. The programme was held at Sir Visvesvaraya Hall. The program started with a prayer song. Mr. G. Bhuvanesh, Third year CSE welcomed the gathering. The inaugural address was given by Dr. M. Sekar, Principal. He insisted that the aim of this course is to equip students with essential skills in AWS. He insisted to do various valuable certification courses to the students and build their career in a good way. The resource person introduction was given by Ms. M. Lathikashri, Third year CSE. Mr. G. Karthikeyan, AWS Educator, highlighted the benefits of the training programme to the participants. He encourages the participants to attend AWS certification course. The program was very useful to the students. At the end of the programme, vote of thanks was given by Ms. A. Dharani, Third year CSE. The programme was well organised by the Coordinator Dr. P. Elamparithi, Associative Professor, CSE.

AAACET has been recognised as Research Centre in Computer Science and Engineering by the Centre for research, Anna University. Candidates interested to do Ph.D. can officially apply.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Center for E-Yantra, AAACET conducted a five-days Certification Course On “DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF MULTIPLE ROBOTS” for III-CSE students from 14.07.2023 to 18.07.2023(Batch I) & 19.07.2023 to 23.07.2023(Batch II). The program started with the welcome address by Ms.G.Anushiya of III Year CSE. Dr. J. Sutha, Professor & Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department inaugurated the certification course and addressed the students about importance of Robotics and how this will be helpful for doing final year project. Ms.V.Kalpana of IV year CSE  gave introduction about the chief guest.

The 5-days workshop on the design and development of multiple robots was an intensive and hands-on program aimed at providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of robotics and its practical applications. Mrs. K. Padma Priya, AP/ ECE, Mrs. T. Vinothini, AP / CSE and Mr. R. VinothKumar AP/EEE were the course Instructors and 58 students involved with the hands-on training sessions. Through hands-on projects and practical sessions, attendees gained expertise in working with ATmega16 microcontrollers, ultrasonic sensors, white line sensors, LCD displays, moving wheels, and buzzers. The acquired knowledge empowered participants to design and build a variety of robots with applications ranging from distance measurement to line-following and object detection.

The 5-day workshop on the design and development of multiple robots provided participants with valuable insights into robotics, microcontroller programming, and sensor integration.

During valedictory session, students thanked the management, Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Centre of E-Yantra for arranging this course which is very useful for finding new products.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with CSI Student Chapter organized Guest Lecture on “Career Opportunities in Data Engineering” on 03.11.2023 from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. The resource person for this program was Mr.J.Manoj, Principal Data Engineer, Mr.Cooper, Chennai. Our 2nd & 4th year CSE students attended the guest lecture. He gave awareness on various tools known by the students to get jobs for Data Analyst & Data Engineers role & clarified the doubts asked by the students. It was very much useful to all our students.

In AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with ICTACADEMY organized “Certification Program on Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst” from 10^th July 2023. As a cumulative, 60 participants from various departments were eagerly participated in this 15 Days Certification Program. The programme was held at Sir Visvesvaraya Hall. The esteemed personalities present on the inauguration of the programme are Dr. M. Sekar, Principal, Mr. V. S. Ramakrishnan, Trainer, ICT academy, Mr. S. Muralirajan , Relationship Manager – Academic Initiatives , ICT academy, Dr. J. Sutha, Head of the Department, Computer Science & Engineering, Dr. P. Elamparithi, Programme Coordinator, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering. The program started with a prayer song. Ms. V. Kalpana, Final year CSE welcomed the gathering. The inaugural address was given by Dr.J.Sutha, Head of the Department, Computer Science & Engineering. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. M. Sekar, Principal. He insisted that the aim of this course is to equip students with essential skills in data analysis and visualization using Microsoft Power BI. He honoured the resource person with a memento. The resource person introduction was given by Ms. G. Anushiya, Third year CSE. Mr. V. S. Ramakrishnan, Trainer, ICT academy highlighted the benefits of the training programme to the participants. Mr. S. Muralirajan , Relationship Manager – Academic Initiatives , ICT academy mentioned that ICT Academy has been part of strengthening the India’s four important visions on Skill India, Digital India, Startup India and Make in India. He said Atos Prayas Foundation has partnered with ICT Academy to establish the Youth Empowerment Program equipped with IT/ITES, BFSI and BPO/KPO modules. This course builds on the foundation of core administration tasks needed to become a certified, Data analyst.  The program was very useful to the students. At the end of the programme, vote of thanks was given by Dr. P. Elamparithi, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

Nearly 60 students from final year CSE, ECE & EEE attended the program. The training was conducted to students from 10.07.2023 to 01.08.2023.
