In response to a circular dated February 22, 2023 from the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sattur (ந.க.அ 1 / 364 / 2023), the Occupational Safety and Health Department, Virudhunagar, and the NSS unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, jointly organized the Fireworks Workers Protection Camp on the college campus on February 27, 2023. The District Collector Dr.V.P. Jeyaseelan I.A.S., Virudhungar, and Dr.P. Ganesan, President, TANFAMA, Sivakasi, inaugurated the explanatory public meeting on preventing accidents to a firecracker and matchbox workers and making the firecracker and matchbox industries without accidents. District Collector Jayaseelan said, “Explosion accidents are primarily due to human error and should be avoided.” We cannot bear the loss of lives and the consequences of such explosions. The district collector provided a training manual to the firecracker and matchbox workers. 100 firecracker factory workers were also present at this camp. Mr.A.Velmurugan, Joint Director, Occupational Safety & Health Department, Virudhunagar, Mr.Ravichandran, Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivakasi, Mrs.T.Anitha, Revenue Divisional Officer, Sattur and many other government officials were also present on the occasion.
Session on Intellectual Property Rights on 22.02.2023
The KAPILA Scheme worked with the IIC, OF AAACET, and IQAC cells to organise a session on intellectual property rights on February 22, 2023. The importance of intellectual property rights was discussed with students by Mr. M. Madharaj, NIPAM Trainer, Examiner of Patents and Designs, Indian Patent Office. He also urged them to engage in “Design Thinking, Critical Thinking, and Innovation Design” The events were attended by more than 185 students and 55 academics, who gained knowledge about design thinking and critical thinking. To promote creativity and design in the interim, we administer a quiz to the participants, and at the conclusion of the event, we get their feedback.
National Voters Day – 25.01.2023
With reference to the circular (Roc.E – 13/1/2023-E3-225750) dated 18-01-2023 from the District Election Department, NSS unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, organized the Voter’s Pledge Taking Ceremony on the occasion of 13th National Voter’s Day in the college campus. NSS Volunteer Mr.T.Vetrivel Mani explained the history of this day & also mentioned the theme of this day, “Nothing Like Voting, I Vote for sure”. 45 members participated actively and took the oath. This program was coordinated by the NSS unit coordinator Mr. S. Balamurugan.
Kabadi Tournament on 29.01.2023
Principal and PD congratulated AAA CET Kabbadi Team who participated in Ayyam patti 55 kg Kabaddi Tournament held on 29.01 23.
Out of the total 145 teams, AAA College Kabaddi team got the 5th position and 2000 cash prize and trophy.

Republic Day Celebration on 26.01.2023
Republic Day of our nation was celebrated with joy and patriotism at AAACET. Dr. M. Sekar, Principal hoisted the flag and gave Republic Day speech to the students and faculty. Mr. Veerukannan, Physical Director organised the event. HoD/SH other faculty and students took part in the celebrations.
Eye camp on 23.01.2023
A Free Eye Check-up camp was held at AAA College of Engineering and Technology in collaboration with Dr Anilkumar’s Eye Hospital, Sivakasi, on 23/01/2023. All the teaching faculty, non-teaching and other staff benefitted from this camp. This camp was coordinated by Dr.R. Meby Selvaraj, Rotaract Club Coordinator and Mr.M.Veerukkannan, Physical Director.
Christmas and New Year Celebration 2023 on 24.12.2022
On 24.12.2022 Christmas and new year 2023 celebrations were held in our campus joyfully with cutting cakes and new year messages from Dr. Padmanabhan and Dr. T. Senthil. Dr. M. Offline and Online Counselling for Students and Faculty – IITM Incubator
Care me (an IITM incubator) has collaborated with AAACET to provide offline and online counselling for students and faculty. The CEO Mr. Gobikrishnan introduced the need of mental health to the students and faculty of AAACET. He also introduced the app developed by CareMe. Dr. M. Sekar Principal inaugurated the meeting and Mr. Manikandaraja AP/Mech and HoD S&H organised the event.
Guest Lecture on “Yoga for Women” on 29.12.2022
A guest lecture on ‘Yoga for Women’ was conducted on 29.12.2022, from 3.00 to 4.30 p.m in Kamarajar Auditorium for first year girl students and lady faculty members. The Chief Guest was Mrs.Renu Rambala, M.Sc., Yoga, Assistant Professor in Sky Yoga Centre. She is the Secretary for Virudhunagar Yoga Association under Tamil Nadu Yoga Sports Federation and YHE Secretary for Virudhunagar district. She is presently working as Primary Health Yoga Instructor in Kanniseripudur. The chief guest gave a brief introduction on 7 different parts of yoga and its usefulness in solving health issues of women. She was accompanied by Mr.C.N.Dharmarajan, Assistant Professor in Sky Yoga Centre who arranged the chief guest and Mr.T.R.Ramanathan, Assistant Professor in Sky Yoga Centre. The session was interactive as students were actively involved in it.
Guest Lecture on “Automotive Electronics overview and Career opportunities in electronics Industry“on 27.12.2022
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with IETE students Chapter organized a one day Industrial Guest Lecture “ Automotive Electronics overview and Career opportunities in electronics Industry “on 27-12-2022 10.00 A.M. to 12.30 P.M. at Thomas Alva Edison seminar Hall. The Resource person was Mr. Mutharasu Beemarajan, Group leader, Electronic Base platform solutions, Vitesco technologies, Bangalore. The resource person is having more than 17 years of working experience, in the automotive electronics design for automobiles. The students of I year ECE & EEE students attended the Guest Lecture. Dr.T.Senthil Associate Professor /ECE welcomed the Principal, Resource person, and gathering. Mr.R.Saravanakumar Assistant Professor/ECE & IETE Coordinator ECE dept introduced the Chief Guest Mr.Mutharasu Beemarajan to the gathering. Dr.M.Sekar Principal honored the Chief Guest with memento shield and delivered special address in the meeting. Dr.T. Senthil Associate Professor /ECE proudly mentioned that Mr.Mutharasu Beemarajan is one of the distinguished alumni of 2004 passed out batch of AKCE krishnankoil.
The Resource person in his first session briefly described about the overview of the automotive electronics in the automobiles. He explained about the sensors used in measuring physical parameters of the typical IC engine and how the sensors output are electronically processed for achieving closed loop control system. The Resource person also briefed about the transmission electronics in the automobiles with CAN Controller Area Network) protocol. He also explained about the automotive electronic sub systems in a car like Engine Ignition, Fuel Injection, Anti-lock Brakes, Steering Control and Collision Avoidance Systems
The second session started, after a short 10 minutes tea break .The Resource Person Mr.Mutharasu Beemarajan in the second session briefed about the career opportunities for an electronics engineers in the electronics industries. He categorized the opportunities in the embedded system, Electronic design automation tools, VLSI design and sensor technologies .He also listed the opportunities in the various levels of electronic product development like design, fabrication, testing and calibration. He also explained about the knowledge domain needed for the job opportunities in the automotive electronics in terms of hardware and software design. The students and faculty members interacted during the question session with the resource person and the resource person also clarified their queries in both the session. Dr.T.Senthil proposed the Vote of Thanks. Online feedback forms are circulated and most of the students appreciated the technical content & Presentation of the Guest Lecture. The meeting ended with the National Anthem.
