With reference to the circular (Letter No.3732/CS/GOI/OP-1/2022-1) dated 24-11-2022 from the Law Department, NSS Unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology celebrated the Indian Constitution Day on 26.11.2022 in the Library Reading Hall. The history of this special day was delivered by our beloved professor Mr.K.S.Srinivas. From this speech, everyone understood that the Constitution of India is the supreme law of India. Constitution Day speech was organized during which the volunteers read the preamble and briefed about the fundamental laws of the constitution that everyone should be aware of. The chief guest Dr.J.Dharmaraja, Head of the department of science & humanities, insisted that our constitution provides fundamental rights to the citizen of our country. 8 Volunteers participated in the elocution competition with the title of “How Indian Constitution Provides Freedom to their citizens compared to other countries”. More than 50 volunteers and 5 staff members attended this program. The program was coordinated by the NSS unit coordinator Mr.S.Balamurugan & Dr.MP.Indira Devi, Assistant Professor.
Awareness Program on Post Office Savings Scheme – 23.11.2022
The NSS Unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi & Sivakasi Post office jointly organized the awareness program on the postal savings scheme in the college on 23rd of November, 2022. The college principal Dr. M. Sekar welcomed the chief guest Mr. S. Ramaswamy, Inspector of Posts, Virudhunagar Division. On this occasion, the Chief Guest explained the savings schemes in the postal sector and also highlighted the importance of savings to the students. He explained various schemes available in the post office like Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Public Provident Fund & RD Account, etc. This awareness program was coordinated by Dr.J.Dharmaraja, Head of the Department of Science & Humanities & the NSS unit coordinator Mr. S. Balamurugan.
Seminar on ‘Entrepreneurship and Innovation as a career opportunity’ on 14.11.2022
Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) – AAACET jointly organized a seminar on ‘Entrepreneurship and Innovation as a career opportunity’ on 14-11-2022 at 11.00 a.m.
Dr.G.Vairamuthu, President, IIC presided over the event. The event started with a welcome address by Ms.N.Sangavi, 4th year / Civil, EDC student coordinator and it was followed by the chief guest introduction provided by Mr.M.Sivasankar, EDC student coordinator. Dr. J. Deny, President-IIC Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Krishnankoil, the resource person of the seminar, explained the importance of entrepreneurship and what kind of mindset the people need to become an entrepreneur. He also explained the different Tamilnadu government schemes to get funding for innovative ideas. Finally, he gave tips to convert their creative ideas into prototypes. The event wound up with an interactive live question and answer session. A Vote of thanks was delivered by Ms.M.Rashmika, 4th Year/EEE, EDC student coordinator, Totally 81 students from various departments partake in that session. Finally, the session came to an end at 12.30 p.m. with the national anthem.
EEE Industrial Visit on 14.11.2022
A one day industrial visit was arranged for the students of II-year EEE (48 Students) on 14.11.2022 (Monday). They visited V.V.V & Sons (P) Ltd., Virudhunagar in the morning session followed by the 1MW Solar power plant, Kurunaikulam in afternoon. The visit was very informative to the students in the view of understanding the process of extracting the oil and they had seen the different types of machinery used in this process. The students clarified their queries regarding the automated packing mechanism. The second visit was also very useful for them to understand the process of solar power generation. The students were demonstrated with the method of injecting the generated solar power into the AC grid. The students interacted with the technical team persons about the maintenance of solar panels, and they elaborated on the regular practice followed in the plant. During the visit, three faculty members and 1 non-teaching staff accompanied the students.

National Education Day Celebration on 11.11.2022
The Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of AAA College of Engineering organized a “National Education Day 2022” on 11th November 2022 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. This programme was organized the orientation session on National Education Policy (with a focus on innovation) for all the first year students of AAA College of Engineering and Technology on 11.11.2022. This Programme was conducted at Kamarajar auditorium at 11am-12.30 pm.
The program was starts up with the prayer song.Ms.R.Oviyaa third year ECE has delivered the welcome address. Our College Principal Dr.M.Sekar Preside over the function and delivered Presidential address. Our college IIC President Dr.G.Vairamuthu delivered the inspiring speech about IIC. As a part of the “National Education Day celebration 2022” one of our Resource person Dr.B.Padmanaban, Associate Professor ECE Department has delivered the Valuable speech about National Education Policy. Students are enthusiastically participated in this event. Finally students are nominated for IIC Members
Nearly 250 of all first year students were participated in enthusiastically. Ms.S.Shruthisaba third year ECE has delivered the Vote of Thanks. Finally the Programme was ended with National anthem.

ThadaiAdhaiUdai – Entrepreneurship Inspirational Talk Series on 08.11.2022
The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of AAACET &StartupTN – Tirunelveli Regional Hub organized an Entrepreneurship Inspirational Talk Series “ThadaiAdhaiUdai” on 08thNovember 2022 (Saturday). The resource persons are Dr.M.Dhiliphan Kumar, Founder, Agape solutions & SPUNKY VIBE and Mr. Ravichandran Subramanian, Chief Brand Strategist, Xpressreach, Rajapalayam. More than 650 Students from various departments attended the program. President of IIC Dr.G.Vairamuthu ASP/Mech started the progam by giving presidential address. The resource persons were honoured by IIC President. Mr.N.Rahul, Project Lead, Tamil Nadu Startup& Innovation Mission, Regional Hub Tirunelveli gave insights about Startup TN and its initiatives and instructed the students to start a company on their own. Mr. Kesavan, Founder D2D angadi and TANSEED beneficiary gave special address. Mr.Ravichandran expressed the reality of business strategy and also the differences between business and entrepreneurship. He insisted on the idea of “The Power of Thinking Big”. Dr.M.Dhiliphan Kumar shared about “The Secret Sauces of Building a Successful Startup”. He instructed the students to identify the problems in the environment and give solution after analysing various challenges. Students interacted with the resource persons actively. At the end of the program Mrs.G.Kavitha, IIC – Startup Activity Coordinator delivered vote of thanks. The program came to an end with the national anthem.

Workshop on e-Yantra Robotics on 13.10.2022
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, in Association with IETE Student Forum organized “National Level Workshop on eYantra Robotics on 13.10.2022. As a cumulative, 20 students from various colleges were eagerly participated in this workshop The Function was started with a prayer song. Ms. B. Swetha, Final Year ECE, Student Coordinator – Valiant‘2022 welcomed the gathering. Dr. S. Sevugarajan, Professor and Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering gave the importance and scope of robotics workshop.
The resource person of the workshop was Mrs. K. Padmapriya, AP/ECE. The workshop was mainly focused on encouraging college students in the field of robotics and automation. The students were introduced to different types of robots and their applications. The resource person familiarized the students about different sensors and equipment required to build robots. Hands on training of AVR studio software has given to participants and Live demonstration of bots like: Maze runner & swarm robot were shown to the students.
At the end of the workshop Feedback session was conducted. During the feedback session all the students were expressed their gratitude to Head of the Department and Event coordinators for organizing this workshop. Dr. S Sevugarajan, HoD/ECE distributed the certificates to participants. Mr. M. Manjula Devi delivered the vote of thanks. Finally the programme was ended with National Anthem.
ECE Association Inauguration and Workshop on Quality of Service on 4G and 5G Network on 21.09.2022
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with IETE Student Forum organized the inauguration of Department association and one day workshop “Quality of Service on 4G and 5G Network” on 21st September 2022 at Thomas Alva Edison Hall Cambridge block. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. H.Victor Samson, Divisional Engineer, BSNL, Virdunagar. The Function was started with a prayer song and Mr. R. Suriyamoorthy, Second Year ECE, welcomed the gathering.
Dr. S. Sevugarajan, Professor and Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering delivered the inaugural address and announced the executive members of the association and its plan for the academic year 2022-2023. Ms. B. Swetha Final year ECE, introduced the chief guest. Dr. S. Sevugarajan, Professor and Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering honoured the chief guest. The chief guest Mr. H.Victor Samson, Divisional Engineer, BSNL, Virdunagar advised the students to utilise technical opportunities provided by college to improve their career and encouraged the students those who have went for internship / implant training at BSNL and he motivated all the young minds to get ready to face the upcoming challenging future.
After association inauguration one day workshop on “Quality of Service on 4G and 5G Network” was conducted. The resource persons of workshop were Mr. H.Victor Samson, Divisional Engineer, BSNL, Virdunagar, Mr. S. Pandeeswaran, Sub Divisional Engineer, BSNL, Virudhunagar and Mr. A.S. Ashragdheen, JTO, BSNL, Virdhunagar. More than 120 students from II, III and IV year ECE participated in the workshop. Mr. A.S. Ashragdheen, JTO, BSNL, Virdhunagar presented the topic on Basics of Communication Networks, Mr. S. Pandeeswaran, Sub Divisional Engineer, BSNL, Virudhunagar, delivered the lecture on Advancement in Communication Network and Mr. H.Victor Samson, Divisional Engineer, BSNL handled the session on Quality of Service on 4G and 5G Network. At the end of the session resource persons distributed the certificates to the participants. Mr. L.Pandian, second year ECE delivered the vote of thanks. Finally, the programme was ended with the National anthem.
