- CE8512 – Water and Waste Water Analysis Laboratory (III Year – V Semester)
The Environmental Engineering laboratory deals with the determination of physio-chemical & bacteriological properties of water. This laboratory involves the concepts of water supply, pollution control, recycling, waste (solid & liquid) disposal, radiation protection, industrial hygiene, environmental sustainability and public health.
It will be useful to suggest the type of treatment required and amount of dosage required for the treatment of water. It is also used to measure the required parameters of water and to check whether they are in accordance with the specified standards. Hence the suitability of water for different construction purposes can be determined in this laboratory. The quality check of water also plays an important role in water distribution and pollution control of water bodies.
