Awareness Program: Voter’s Pledge – 25.01.2022
As per the instruction given by the District Election Officer, the NSS Unit, and the Department of Physical Education of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi organized an Awareness Program in view of National Voters’ Day on 25.01.2022. National Voters’ Day is celebrated to encourage, facilitate and maximize enrolment, especially for the new or first-time voters. To promote and motivate young voters, the day was inaugurated with a Voter’s pledge by the Principal, NSS Programme Officer, Faculty members, and NSS volunteers. More than 70 students and staff members took the pledge. The program was coordinated by the NSS unit coordinator Mr. S. Balamurugan, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering.
Awareness Program: Fit India – Freedom Run – 25.01.2022
As per the instruction given by the department of Sports (D.O. letter No. Ko15017/7/2020-MDSD), the NSS Unit and Department of Physical Education of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi organized the awareness program about “Fit India – Freedom Run” on 25-01-2022. Our beloved Principal Dr. M. Sekar in his inaugural address insisted the participants keep their bodies fit for their better future. The session was delivered & performed with Yogasanam, freehand exercises by Mr. M. Veerukkanann, Physical Director of our college. Nearly 70 participants including faculty members & students attended this session. The resource person insisted all the students, staff, and teachers devote a minimum of one hour per day to fitness activities such as exercise, yoga, meditation, walking, cycling, dance, traditional regional martial arts, etc. The This program was coordinated and organized by the NSS unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology.

One Day Session On “Problem Solving and Ideation Workshop In 3D Printing”
The Institute Innovation Council (IIC) and IPR of AAACET, has jointly organized the One Day Session On “Problem Solving and Ideation Workshop In 3D Printing” on 28th October 2021 at 11.30 am. Dr.G.Vairamuthu ASP/Mech / President IIC, who preside over the event,. The event started with a welcome address by Mr.Nirmal Venkatesh, IV Year, Mech, IPR Student Co-ordinator IIC. Followed by G.Manikandaraja, IPR Coordinator, IIC, who gave a brief about the trade Mark, Copyright, patent filling of the event conducted at AAACET. Mr.R.Meby selvaraj, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, was the resource person for this one day workshop. He demonstrated and discusses about 3D printing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. The event targeted for our B.E students who are eager to enhance their Innovative idea and start-up skill. The event was backed-up from the participant’s end with an interactive live Question and Answers session. The event came to an end with a vote of thanks from Mr.S.BalamuruganAP/Mech, Co-ordinator IIC. Around 43 students and faculties were eagerly participated for the Workshop on 3D Printing.
Seminar on “Proposal Drafting For Research and Innovation Project”
The Institute Innovation Council (IIC) of AAACET organized an event entitled “Proposal Drafting for Research and Innovation Project.” on 11th October 2021. The event started with a welcome address by M.Nandhakumar, IV Year, Mech, Student Co-ordinator IIC, President of IIC, Dr.G.Vairamuthu ASP/Mech started the seminar by giving presidential address and honoured the chief guest with a shawl. Followed by G.Manikandaraja, IPR Coordinator, IIC, who gave a brief about the Intellectual ideas of the event conducted at AAACET. Dr.K.Sakthipandi, Director, Associate Dean Research, SRM TRP Engineering College, Trichy, was the resource person for this webinar through Digital Platform and offline mode. He discuss about the Step by step Proposal Drafting, How to get Research grant and Think about Innovation Project. The event targeted for our B.E students who are eager to enhance their Innovative and start-up skill. The event was backed-up from the participant’s end with an interactive live Question and Answers session. The event came to an end with a vote of thanks from Mr.G.Manikandaraja of ASST PROFESSOR, Mech, IPR Co-ordinator IIC. Around 110 students and faculties were eagerly participated for the Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs).
NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY CELEBRATION – 2021
The Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of AAA College of Engineering organized a “National Education day celebration 2021” to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad on 11-11-2021. In this regards, the one day webinar on “National Education Policy 2021” was organized from 2.00 P.M to 3.00 P.M. and the Debate was organized on “Traditional Education System versus Modern Education System” from 3.00 P.M. to 4.00 P.M. The Programme was conducted at Thomas Alva Edison Hall. Ms.Swetha, Third Year, Department of ECE, Student Co-ordinator IIC, extended a warm greeting to the delightful gathering followed by Dr.G.Vairamuthu, President, IIC, who gave a brief about the National Education Policies and the event conducted at AAACET.
Dr.Prasanth.R.Nair, Vice-chairman-IQAC & Associate professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Amirta Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore was the resource person for this webinar through Digital Platform. The session was an eye opening session about the new Education Policy of India. The Resource person listed out the features of National Education Policy:2020 and pointed out the benefits of this policy. NEP:2020 policy initiatives from Government of India. During the feedback session, the participants interacted with the resource person and clarified their queries regarding this policy. In debate competition nearly 30 students were participated and Mr.Saravanan, AP/EEE acted as a Judge for the event. Mr.Devananth, Second Year, Department of CSE delivered the Vote of Thanks. Finally the Programme was ended with National Anthem.

My story – Motivational Session by Successful Entrepreneur/Start-up Founder
The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of AAACET organized one day seminar on “My story – Motivational Session by Successful Entrepreneur/Start-up Founder” on 18th November 2021 (Thursday). The resource person is Er.M.Murugan, Proprietor of Senthur Paper Pack, Thiruthangal. Nearly 75 Students from various departments attended the seminar. President of IIC, Dr.G.Vairamuthu ASP/Mech started the seminar by giving presidential address. Mrs.G.Kavitha, AP/CSE, Start-up Coordinator of IIC, introduced the resource person. President of IIC, Dr.G.Vairamuthu ASP/Mech honoured the chief guest with a shawl and memento. The resource person shared his experience in starting up a business. He insisted about how to stay focused on our dream. He also shared his views on flexibility and how to solve problems with a positive attitude. Students interacted with the resource person actively. At the end of the seminar Ms.I.Jemimah Blessingta, III Year CSE, delivered the vote of thanks. The program came to an end with the national anthem.

Problem finding through Field Visit to “V.V.V. & Sons Edible Oils Limited”
The unit of IIC-AAACET brought the II year students of EEE to the Industrial visit to V.V.V. & Sons Edible Oils Limited, Virudhunagar on 19.12.2021. This visit was arranged for the students in order to collect the various problems statements in industrial sectors. 40 students and 3 faculty members visited the industry and gone thorugh the entire process of making edible oil. During the visit, the students identified the following unsolved issues at the industry
- Temperature maintenance at steam boiler
- Oil level indicator in oilmexpeller machine
- Oil quality checking system
- Automatic packaging unit
- Broken Container alert system
- Color based seed classifier unit
- Weight measuring unit
- Automatic labelling unit
