IIC Calendar Activities
The following IIC calendar activities and celebration events are planned during the academic year 2021-2022.
Constitution Day – 01/12/2021
With reference to the circular (D.O.No. F.1-28/2021) dated 25-11-2021 from the University Grants Commission, NSS Unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi celebrated the Indian Constitution Day (26-11-2021) on 01-12-2021 at our college campus. The history of this special day was delivered by our college NSS volunteers P.Thanga Sudha – IV Year CSE, R.Suriyamoorthy, I Year . From their speech, everyone understood that the Constitution of India is the supreme law of India. It provides political rights, establishes the structure, procedures, powers, and duties of government institutions and sets out fundamental rights, the duties of citizens. More than 50 students and 5 staff members attended this program. The program was coordinated by the NSS unit coordinator Mr.S.Balamurugan, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering.

National Pollution Control Day Celebration – 02/12/2021
The Eco & Nature Club and Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of AAA College of Engineering organized a “National Pollution Control Day Celebration” on 02.12.2021 at 11.00 A.M. The main objective of the National Pollution Control Day Celebration program is to create awareness about the various types of pollutants and to control the pollutions making improved of our eco systems. The program started with prayer song followed by the welcome address given by Dr. G. Vairamuthu, IIC President. This program was organized by the IIC and Eco & Nature Club of AAACET. A pollution awareness lecture on various source of pollutants, its side effects and prevention & control methods was delivered by
Dr. V. Vasanthi Wilfred, AP/English. 215 first year BE students and 25 faculty members are actively participated. From this celebration day program, all the participants gathered a knowledge about green environment. They also take an oath of reducing the various type of pollutants to make a green and clean environment. Dr. M. Jacob, Eco & Nature Club Convenor, delivered the vote of thanks.

Voter Registration Camp – 18/11/2021
With reference to the circular (இ/3777/2021) dated 6-11-2021 from the Election department, Virudhunagr, NSS unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, organized the Voter Registration Camp on 18-11-2021 in the college campus. Our chief guest Mr.K.Thirupathi, Election Deputy Thashildar, Virudhunagar explained the importance of voting in the election process. He insisted all the eligible students submit their new voter application form to the NSS Volunteers. Our chief guest Mrs.V.Malar Kodi, Revenue Inspector, Amathur insisted the students should come forward to vote in all the elections to participate in the democratic process. Totally 130 students get benefitted from this camp. This Voter Registration Camp was coordinated by the NSS unit coordinator Mr. S. Balamurugan Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Office Manager Mr.S.Balagurusamy & Mr.M.Veerukkannan, Physical Director.
Blood Donation Camp – 20.11.2021
The YOUTH RED CROSS CLUB and “ROTARACT CLUB”of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi organised a “Voluntary Blood Donation Camp” for all students and staff in association with Government Hospital, Sivakasi.
Dr.Ayyanar, MBBS, Chief Medical Officer, Government Hospital Sivakasi and Dr. N.Sankaranarayanan, Uppathur Primary Health Centre are presented for this camp. This camp was inaugurated by AAA CET Principal Dr.M Sekar. The Doctors emphasised that every Blood donor is a life saver and Blood donation is the real act of Humanity.
They encouraged students to donate Blood as it is not harmful and the body of the donor can regenerate the blood within a few days. More than 75 volunteers came forward to donate blood. The donors were provided with a certificate.
This camp was coordinated by the Club coordinators Mr.R.Meby Selvaraj of Mechanical Engineering. All arrangements for the programme were made by Secretary Dr.P.Karvannan., Correspondent Dr.P.Ganesan and Joint Secretary Dr.K.Vignesh Kumar.
Webinar on “Entrepreneurship and Innovation as a career opportunity”
Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) – AAACET (SPOKE INSTITUTE) & Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII) Tamilnadu – AURCT – IEDP HUB are jointly organized the Webinar on “Entrepreneurship and Innovation as a career opportunity” on 15-11-2021 at 03.30 PM.
Dr.G.Vairamuthu, President, IIC who preside over the event. The event started with a welcome address by Ms.S. Hajirabeevi, II year / CIVIL, EDC Member and Mr.M.Sivasankar, AP/CIVIL, EDC Coordinator who gave a brief introduction about this session. Mr.M.Siva Baarathi.M.E, Field Coordinator, AURCT-IEDP Hub, Anna University Regional Campus Tirunelveli is the eminent speaker for this webinar. Mr.M.Siva Baarathi initially started his presentation with brief introduction about EDII, Tamilnadu and explained about various innovation ideas that change the world to encourage student’s innovators. He also explained difference between businessman and entrepreneurs. The event was backed-up from the participant’s end with an interactive live Question and Answers session. The event came to an end with a vote of thanks and the participants gave their feedback. Totally 62 participants from various departments were participated in this interactive session. Finally the session came to an end at 04.30 p.m.
