The Department of Civil Engineering in AAA College of Engineering &Technology, Sivakasi is organized an inaugural function on 30th October 2021 at Thomas Alva Edison Hall, Cambridge block, AAACET campus.Dr. S. Krishnapriya (Prof / Head of Department of Civil Engineering) welcomed,the resource persons Er. T. Raghavan B.E.,(Ex., FACET State President) and Er. N. Sivapiran B.E., M.B.A., M.Sc., (President of Civil Engineering Association, Sivakasi Region).The speakers were shared their carrier experiences with all the Civil Engineering students.Mr. T. Manikandan, AP/Civil, Association In charge, was introduced the Association Office barriers to all the students for the academic year of 2021-2022.This event was ended successfully with a vote of thanks from association secretary.
Tree Plantation – 17.11.2021
The Eco & Nature Club students of AAACET participated in a Mass Tree Plantation with different species of trees at various locations in our college campus on 17.11.2021 at 10.00 AM. The main objective of the plantation of trees and plants program aids to create awareness of our eco systems from pollutions and making healthier. Also, trees purifies the air, conserves water to rise the ground water level, helps in climate change, preserves soil and benefits the overall environment in several other ways. The program started with an influential speech on the importance of trees in our daily lives by Dr. M. Sekar, Principal/AAACET. Under the guidance of the club conveners and staff members, each student volunteers planted a tree in the open land and watered it. Students made this program a big success by giving their full co-operation and support. Tree plantation involves transplanting tree seedlings to grow forests and spread greenery around us.
Logo Contest Eco & Nature Club – 16.11.2021
The Eco & Nature Club of our college conducted “Logo Contests” for all the students on 16th November 2021 at reading hall of third floor, Oxford Block. Twenty three students enthusiastically participated in the competition to create and present their own novel ideas. The faculty members, Dr. S. Sevugarajan, Prof. & Head/ECE, Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, Prof & Head/EEE, Dr. S. Krishnapriya, Prof & Head/CE acted as judges and evaluated the student logo contents. Dr. J. Dharmaraja, ASP/S&H and Dr. M. Jacob, ASP/CE were the coordinators for the event.
G. Anushiya, II year/CSE won the first prize and A. Sampath Kumar, IV year/EEE won the second prize. The third prize was shared by A. Subhas, III year/ME and A. Sam Dharma Raj, III year/CE.
National Level Technical Symposium – AUGUSTA 2K21
In AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with CSI Student Chapter organized “National Level Technical Symposium – AUGUSTA 2K21” on 29.10.2021. The Chief Guest for the function was Mr. D. Amelraj, Project Manager – Data Analytics, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Bangalore. The function started with a prayer song. Ms. P. Thanga Sudha, Secretary – Augusta 2k21, Department of Computer Science and Engineering welcomed the gathering. Dr. J. Sutha, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering gave the inaugural address and briefed about the events of symposium to the participants. Ms. E. Ashika of Third year CSE, introduced the chief guest to the participants. Dr. J. Sutha, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, presented a memento as a token of love and affection to our chief guest. In the chief guest address, he presented the skills needed to get a job in IT sector and insist the participants to improve their skills to succeed in their career. More than 100 participants from various engineering and arts colleges actively participated in the symposium. Technical Events like The Paper Talk, Hello World, Into the Dark, Non-Technical Events like Hit With Wit, Slay’em, Film ‘In’ Go and online events like Lens-On, Sym-Poster were conducted in a grand manner in order to enhance the skills of students.
The programme was well organised by our Secretary Dr. P. Karvannan., Correspondent Dr. P. Ganesan., Joint Secretary Dr. K. Vignesh Kumar., Principal Dr. M. Sekar, Dr. J. Sutha, HOD/CSE, Augusta Co-ordinators Mr. P. Elampariti, Mrs. G. Kavitha and by the Faculty members of CSE. During the valedictory function Dr. J. Sutha, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering distributed the prizes and certificates to winners. Mr. K. R. Siva Rama Pandian, President – Augusta, delivered the vote of thanks. Finally the programme was ended with national anthem.
Motivational Talk by Women Entrepreneur – 21/10/2021
The Women Empowerment Cell of AAA College of Engineering and Technology organized a webinar on ”Motivational Talk by Women Entrepreneur” on 21-10-2021 for all the girls student and Lady faculty members. The Webinar started with welcome address by Ms.S.Porkaviya of III Year EEE. Ms.M.Rashmika of III Year EEE introduced the chief guest. The Chief guest Mrs.P.Archana Stalin,B.E., Founder, myHarvest Farms, Chennai motivated the students to be an Entrepreneur and adopt eco friendly activities. She also motivated the students to be smart, ready to know the current market scenario. Mrs.B.Sarojini,AP / EEE delivered the vote of thanks. Totally 225 students got benefitted by this programme.
The programme was well organized by Dr.S.Krishnapriya, HOD/Civil, Faculty Coordinator Mrs.B.Sarojini, AP / EEE and student Volunteers.
Literary Club: Caption Writing Competition – 06/10/2021
Literary Club of AAA College of Engineering and Technology conducted ‘Caption Writing Competition’ for the students on 6th October, 2021. It was organized at Thomas Alva Edison seminar hall of Cambridge Block. More than 90 students enthusiastically participated in it. R. Oviya of II ECE bagged the first prize. P. Sakthipriya of III EEE and S. Paul Prakash of II CSE got second and third prizes respectively. P. Navitha of III ECE, J. Annie Reenu of III CSE, V. Rithiga of III ECE, K. Nithya Lakshmi of III CSE and N. Dhanas Sree of III ECE achieved consolation prizes. The Management, Principal and Faculty Members congratulated the winners.
First Year Induction Ceremony – 20/10/2021
The induction ceremony of the first year students of the batch 2020-21 commenced with the lighting of lamp by a group of dignitaries of AAA College of Engineering and Technology – Dr. P. Ganesan (Correspondent), Dr.K. Vignesh Kumar (Joint Secretary) and Panchurajan – Amravati Foundation Member. Mrs. Sasimala Ganesan, Dr. K. Sekar (Principal), Dr. Parimala Selvan (Director of Industry), Mr. Sukumar (Winways Director) and all the department heads, and faculty members. The program was followed by Saraswati-Vandana.
Dr. K. Satheeskumar, Head of the Department of Science and Humanities, who formally welcomed all the dignitaries present on the dais and parents and students. Dr. Sekar, Principal of the College wished the students to utilize all the provisions provided by AAA College of Engineering and Technology for institutionalizing better human values along with professional knowledge. He motivated first year students to participate actively in various programs. All the department heads of the college were also introduces by our honorable Principal.
The Correspondent, Dr. G. Ganesan delivered the inaugural address. In his address expressed that AAACET should develop as an institute with some uniqueness and he ensured that the Management would provide all the facilities required for student’s overall development. The Joint Secretary Dr. K. Vignesh Kumar also explained the importance of education and he briefly explained the changes in the new regulations of the present academic year.
The chief guest, Dr. Parimala Selvan advised the importance of getting up early in the morning and how to keep their body and mind clean by meditation. Finally he also explained the students how to achieve their goals in a very short duration of lifetime.
Then Mr. Sukumar the motivational speaker insisted the students how to fulfill their parents’ dreams by gaining their own experience through education and life and achieve their goals. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. V.Vasanthi Wilfred, Assistant Professor of English.
ECO & Nature Club Drawing Competition – 13/10/2021
The Eco & Nature Club of our college conducted “Drawing Competition” on the theme “Prevention and Control of Pollution” for all the students on 13th October 2021. It was organized in the drawing hall of third floor, Cambridge Block. Seventy seven students enthusiastically participated in the competition to create awareness about pollution. The faculty members, Dr. S. Sevugarajan, Prof & Head/ECE, Dr. G. Vairamuthu, ASP/ME, Dr. M. Jacob, ASP /CE and Dr. K. Anand, AP/S&H acted as judges and evaluated the student drawing sheets. Dr. J. Dharmaraja ASP/S&H and Dr. M. Balamurugan, AP/ S&H were the coordinators for the event.
P. Angel, II year/CSE won the first prize. G. Gokul, II year/ ME and S. Jeya Priya, III year/CE shared the second prize. The third prize was shared by P. Ponpriya Dharshini, II year/ ECE and C. Maheswari, II year/EEE.

TECHNICAL EVENTS:
QUIZONICS ( an event for ignited minds) :
- Team size – 2 members.
- There will be 2 rounds in this Event.
- Only Technical questions will be asked.
- Mechanical (70%), Basic science (15%) & General awareness (15%).
PAPER PRESENTATION (15-20 slides in ppt) :
- Your work should be original and in the specified format.
- Interested candidates are advised to mail the complete paper in IEEE format and presentation in .PPT or .PPTX format.
- Duration will be 8 min for presentation and 2 min for questioning and queries.
- Violating the time limit may reduce the marks.
Paper
- The competition is open to Electronics and communication engineering Domain.
- Students are requested to send their papers on valiant_ece@aaacet.ac.in.
- The participants of shortlisted candidates will be informed by E-Mail ID or by Mobile.
