Tagline Writing Competition on 12.01.2024
Literary & Fine Arts Club and Science and Humanities Association of AAA College of Engineering and Technology conducted ‘Tagline Writing Competition’ for the students on 12th January, 2024. It was organized at the Drawing Hall of Oxford Block. 57 students enthusiastically participated in it. S. Aslam of I year AI & DS won I prize, M. Shanmugananth of I year AI & DS bagged II prize, S. Sanjay Guru of I year AI & DS got III prize. B. Sobana, Shakthyananthi U A & R. Kavin Murugesan of I year AI & DS, C. Kavi Bala & K. S. Afreen Fathima of I year. CSE ‘A’, V. Vaishalini, C. Mahithasri & S. Nashrin Nisha of I year CSE ‘B’, R. Maheswaran of I year Mech, R. Rajalakshmi of II year CSE, S. Monika Sri of II year ECE got consolation prizes. The Management, Principal and Faculty Members congratulated the winners.
International Certification course on “AUTODESK FUSION 360” from 22.01.2024
Department of Mechanical Engineering, AAACET has planned to conduct AUTODESK FUSION 360 International Certification course in collaboration with ICT Academy. The training for students will be conducted from 22/01/2024 to 30/01/2024 and the International Certification exam will be conducted in the month of February 2024.
National Youth Day Celebration on 12.01.2024
In order to raise awareness among the students about Swami Vivekanada’s philosophies, values, and ideals, the NSS Unit of AAA College of Engineering & Technology observed National Youth Day on January 12, 2024, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm. Dr. J. Dharmaraja, Head of Department, presented a shawl as a token of appreciation to the key guests. The Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Virudhunagar, Mr. V. Kasivishwanathan, gave the lecture on road safety awareness. The session was enhanced by Ms. ST. Divya Vishalini, First Year, CSE, who shared motivational quotes about Swami Vivekananda’s life with the volunteers. Every NSS volunteer has registered on the My Bharat Portal with their personal information. This program was coordinated by the NSS unit coordinator, Mr. S. Balamurugan.

Higher Education Guidance Program for School Students on 05.01.2024
As per the instructions given by the State NSS Officer, the NSS Unit of AAA College of Engineering & Technology organized the Higher Education Guidance Program on 05-01-2024 at KSG Government Higher Secondary School, Amathur. The NSS Program Officer and the NSS Volunteers attended the School Management Committee (SMC) meeting and interacted with the members. Along with the headmaster, SMC members, NSS volunteers, and staff members visited the school campus. NSS volunteers explained the features available on the Naan Mudhalvan website for school students. NSS volunteers interacted with school students and gave higher education guidance on various options available after higher secondary education. NSS volunteers insisted the school students utilize the Naan Mudhalvan portal for entrance exam notification and preparation. 115 students actively attended the program. This guidance program was coordinated by the NSS unit coordinator, Mr. S. Balamurugan, and the placement officer, Dr. V. Vivek.
National Level Workshop on ‘Developing Internet of Things Projects using ARDUINO and NODE MCU’ on 21.12.2023 & 22.12.2023
The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with Centre of IIoT organized a two days National Level Workshop on, ‘DEVELOPING INTERNET OF THINGS PROJECTS USING ARDUINO AND NODE MCU’ on 21.12.2023 & 22.12.2023. The students from Polytechnic and Engineering colleges participated in this workshop. R. Nithyalakshmi of II year EEE welcomed the gathering and V. G Padmpriya of II year EEE introduced the resource person to the audience.
The resource person of the workshop was Mr. M. S. Kalyana Sundaram, M.E., (PhD) Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mr. P. Vetrivel, M.E., Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi. Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, Professor and Head of the Department delivered the presidential address to the participants and briefed the significance of IoT in today’s world. Mr. M. S. Kalyana Sundaram explained the Arduino and Node MCU boards, their features and the importance of interconnected devices and their applications in various industries. Mr. P. Vetrivel covered the fundamentals of coding in IoT using Arduino and Node MCU. He shared the common challenges faced during IoT project development. Hands on training were provided to the participants. This programme served as an eye opening session for the participants. At the end of the session, the resource persons cleared the queries of the students and received feedback from the participants. Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, Professor and Head of the Department distributed the certificates to the participants. R. Nithyalakshmi of II year EEE delivered the vote of thanks. Totally 20 students participated in the programme.

Faculty members (Assistant Professors/Associate Professors/ Ph.D Scholars) of the AICTE approved institutions, Universities ,Polytechnic colleges, Research scholars, PG scholars , Engineers from R&D Lab and Government Sectors are eligible to apply for the FDP.
